VIRTUAL MEETUP
Our 4th Virtual Meetup will take place on September 25, 2021 at 9:00 am CET+1
We have two fantastic presenters from our member schools - Carol Jordan from the American School of Warsaw and Andrew Pontius from the American International School of Bucharest. Between them, they will talk about their schools’ data journeys, how they have been using data prior to joining the LAC, what processes they have put in place, how the faculty is currently using the LAC as well as plans for the future. Each 30 min session will include an additional time for Q&A at the end where participants can contribute and interact with our presenters. Additionally, Piotr Olczak, Director of Learning Analytics at Consilience, will run a session on the New LAC Platform.

PRESENTERS
American School of Warsaw - Learning Journey with the LAC
Presenter: Carol Jordan, Associate Director for Teaching and Learning, ASW
Time - 9:00 - 9:30 am CET+1
At the American School of Warsaw, learning is defined as growth from where you were to where you are, and where you want to go. Carol Jordan will share the school's learning journey with the LAC from the opportunities they saw in partnering with the Collaborative, and the first year of implementation in 2020-2021; where the school experienced smooth sailing, where they had to navigate choppy waters, and where they are heading this year and beyond.
American International School of Bucharest - Learning Journey with the LAC
Presenter: Andrew Pontius, Secondary Leadership Team, AISB
Time: 9:35 - 9:55 am CET+1
For this short session we are going to identify some familiar conversations that often happen around schools and how we might reframe how we have used LAC to actually bring the data into the conversation before making any decisions. Basically, how does the data help us nip assumptions in the bud, and have clear dialogue to make more informed decisions.
LAC New Interface - Features and Functionality
Presenter: Piotr Olczak, Director of Learning Analytics, Consilience LAC
Time: 10:00 - 10:30 am CET+1
In this session we will showcase the new features of the LAC rebuilt platform. Our current LAC members will migrate over to the new platform in the coming weeks. New schools that have joined the LAC from this school year will use the new platform.
